Easy Dessert Recipes: Banana Cream Pie

We had some bananas that got ahead of us recently
(Brown spots-- my wife and I like yellow/green).  Tonight my wife made Banana Bread, but last night with all the kids in residence (We are both divorced, so the kids aren't always here), she made a delicious Banana Cream Pie.

Here's what you need:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • Graham cracker crust
  • Vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 8 oz. of cream cheese

Here's what to do:

  • Mix 1/2 cup of milk and all softened cream cheese
  • Add pudding mix and remaining milk-- mix until smooth
  • Cut slices of banana on bottom of pie crust keep a couple for the top as decoration and identifier
  • Add mixture
  • Chill and serve

Prep time less than 15 minutes-- chill time about an hour

Super easy and it is a big hit!
