Emergency Preparedness: Here Come the Drones . . .
The use of drones is exploding. They can be small and cheap-- $300. These drones will be used by government, business, and individuals. The thing is that you need to be aware of this and take measures to protect yourself-- privacy and property.
Here are some ideas to defeat unwanted surveillance:
- Close and cover windows
- Cover property left outdoors with tarps, netting, or structures
- Do things under the cover of darkness (This won't help within night vision equipped drones)
- Keep or do things off-site
- Install and use structural or natural cover
- Consider attacking the drone with a drone of your own or a kite (Not as crazy as it sounds)
While there is no way to be 100% protected, be aware and take some counter-measures.
