Automotive DIY: Changing Wiper Blades
When you drive in the rain and you are lacking clarity . . . it is time to change your wiper blades.
What should you do?
- Go to an auto parts retailer armed with your vehicle's year, make, and model
- Look up or ask for a look up of the correct sizes or have a measurement of the actual wiper blades
- Get the right sized replacements
Now the easy part-- got three minutes?
- Lift the wiper assembly up
- Pinch the retaining clip where the wiper blade attaches to the assembly and slide
- The blade should now come off
- Slide the replacement blade on and listen for the click
- Put the wiper assembly back down on the wind shield
- Do the other blade
- Now test with some wiper fluid
Voila-- done!
