DIY Quick Tip: Save Replaced Non-Failed Parts
Here is another DIY Quick Tip . . . Always save non-failed, replaced parts as "emergency" spares or back ups. I practice this with my Jeep Cherokee XJ. My view is if I have an emergency, I have got a quick, temporary fix until I can get a new part in.
BTW, if the part is failed and made of metal, start a box for the scrap yard-- you might get a few bucks.
