Want to save time in the kitchen?  Yeah, me too.  I like the results-- I just don't want to while away my time in the kitchen.

The solution is to batch cook.  When I am making my Dinner Idea: Pasta With Homemade Italian Gravy and Dinner Idea: Homemade Italian Meatballs I will usually make breakfast at the same time.  Additionally, I will set up lunch as well.

There is another thing you can do-- make more than you need.  Make extra potatoes for dinner and use them for breakfast with scrambled eggs the next morning.  I make enough of the Italian Gravy mentioned above to get 2-3 additional meals.  You can make multiple meals and freeze them.

Would you spend 1-2 hours on a Saturday morning to save many more hours over the week or month ahead?  Of course you would.

Batch it!
