Always Carry a Pen and Paper

Some helpful advice.  Today, I brain dumped about two dozen post ideas-- a total idea dump.  It was important that I had pen and paper.

You never know when inspiration will strike and it pays to record the thought(s).  The thoughts may be complete or incomplete for finishing or developing more later.  However, it is critical to have the right tools on hand . . .

I have discussed how I prepped for the full launch of this very site-- I filled almost half a notebook with post ideas.  This site never would have happened without a reservoir of ideas to dip into.

I used to use napkins, business cards, index cards, and post-its-- they end up all over.  I recommend a notebook and a good, reliable pen.

Write it down! Inspiration comes at odd moments . . . Be ready!
