Slow Cooker Recipes: Beef Stew in the Crock Pot

We are making this one tomorrow. I love "set it and forget it" meals, here is my wife's beef stew in the crock pot recipe . . .
Here's What You Need:
- 1-2 lbs. of stew meat
- 3-6 sliced carrots
- 2 sliced onions
- 1/4 cup of red wine
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of ginger
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 1 can tomato soup
Here's What to Do (Prep time is about 10 minutes):
- We don't brown our meat, but you can if you want
- Put all ingredients into crock pot and set at low for eight (8) hours or on high for five (5) hours
- Stir occasionally-- once an hour if possible
Serve over egg noodles or mashed potatoes. I like worchestershire sauce on mine.
It's that easy . . . and tastes great!
