Slow Cooker Recipes: Corned Beef in the Crock Pot

I love set it and forget it dishes. Here is one for the crock post-- Slow Cooked Corned Beef. Prep time is about five minutes.
Here's what you need:
- 2.5-3.5 lb. corned beef brisket
- 1-2 dashes of pickling spices
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 1 celery stalk, sliced
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1-2 cups of water
Here's what to do:
- Season the meat with the salt and spices
- Put meat and other ingredients in crock pot and cover with water
- Cook on low for 8+ hours
Enjoy.
