Slow Cooker Recipes: Cajun Shrimp in the Crock Pot




Seafood with a zing-- Slow Cooked Cajun Shrimp.  Prep time is about ten minutes.

Here's what you need:

  • 1 pound of cooked shrimp, no shells, but tails if you like
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 of a green pepper, chopped
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 can of chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of wild and long grain rice
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning mix
  • Dash of salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • Dash of worcestershire sauce
  • Dash of Tabasco (make it two or three)


Here's what to do:

  • Combine ingredients in crock pot
  • Slow cook on LOW for eight hours
