Low Profile Living-- More Ideas to Keep It on the Down Low

Low profile living can be accomplished right under nosey peoples' noses. They can be surprised to learn of your intentions late into "the game" or after "the game" is over. Here are some more tips:
- Work under the cover of darkness
- Complete small pieces of bigger projects
- Do things out of sequence
- Stay behind closed doors
- Wait until vacation time when people are away
- Use odd hours to your advantage
Three personal stories:
I had a screwball college roommate first semester of freshman year. He was a nightmare, I was very neat and organized, so my stuff was easy to move-- I moved across campus in under four hours without a car before he returned from classes to find a half empty dorm room. Meanwhile, I was across campus making new friends with a few cases of beer I had bought!
I was forced out of my shared home with my ex-wife by court order (no domestic violence, just a vindictive, cheating ex-wife). I moved out during a workday (with some help) taking what I wanted or needed without fights over pots and pans or books and CDs. She found out in the last hour because her boyfriend informed her about the moving truck. I was gone before she got home. My attorney was called by her attorney and then called me laughing at what I pulled off . . . SURPRISE. I guess my ex-wife couldn't control everything!
I once completed a big project at work that led to a big promotion by working quietly and late at night. I didn't work on it conspicuously during the day, because I had nosey co-workers. When I did work on it, it was in small pieces that would seem unimportant to the casual observer.
You can keep your activities on the down low-- just think and plan before you do.
