Cold Morning? Start Your Day Right With a Hot Breakfast

On cold mornings like today, having a hot breakfast is the way to start your day right.

When you wake up in the morning your body needs to get restarted. I am a firm believer in breakfast being the most important meal of the day. However, on cold mornings, I believe in hot breakfasts-- especially if you will be working outdoors.

So what do I recommend?

  • Oatmeal, farina, or other grain
  • Scrambled eggs with toast
  • Pancakes, waffles, or french toast

The best of the bunch is probably oatmeal-- simple to make, stays hot, filling, and very high energy. If you want ideas on making more interesting, check out my post, Breakfast Idea: 10 Ways to Jazz Up Oatmeal.

Fuel up and start the day right!
