How to Get a Good Shave: 10 Tips

Shaving is a fact of life for many of us. So how do you get a good shave? Here are some quick tips to a good wet shave:
- Use a fresh blade-- When the blade doesn't flow smoothly through your beard-- it is time to change blades
- Apply soap on your face prior to shaving cream-- This helps with lubrication
- Rinse blade in cool water-- This extends the life of the blade and helps avoid razor burn
- Shave in shower-- Steam in the shower help raises the hair for better shaving (Use a fog free mirror)
- Use a shaving brush-- These raise the hair as well for a better shave
- Shave in short strokes-- Short strokes with a rinse in between keeps the blades clear for better shaving
- Go with the grain-- Shave in the direction of your beard to avoid ingrown hairs
- Rinse your face with cool water-- Remove shave cream and other debris
- Pat the shaved area dry-- Avoid irritated the skin and removing healthy oils
- Consider a light moisturizer-- This replenishes and heals the skin
These tips should help you get a better shave as early as tomorrow morning.
