More Ideas to Develop Your Self Reliance Skills

Earlier, I posted on developing self reliance skills mainly through hunting courses offered by your respective states,
Some Ideas to Help You Develop Self Reliance Skills. Now, I am offering a few more ideas to get skilled up. There are three more places you can turn for low or no cost courses-- here they are:

American Red Cross

  • CPR, First Aid, and AED
  • Lifeguarding
  • Swimming and Water Safety

Home Depot

  • Painting
  • Plumbing
  • Carpentry
  • Landscaping
  • Gardening

Local Supermarkets

  • Shopping
  • Cooking
  • Cleaning

I am certain you can find other courses and programs-- if you look. Need a few more ideas? I might start looking to continuing education programs, local cooperative extension offices, or even 4H Clubs.

Again, the bottomline: Get busy on developing your self reliance skills.
