What Did You Learn Today?

Just a quick one . . . for those seeking a more self reliant life. I try to learn something new every single day-- I look for a tip, trick, or technique to add to my skill set. While the days of my formal education are over, school is never really out. You should always seek to grow and improve. There is always something new to learn. Here's what I do-- Each day, I:

  • Read newspapers, magazines, and books
  • Browse new sections in book stores and libraries (This is author Tom Peter's approach to discovering new things)
  • Google at least a dozen things a day
  • Talk to others, ask questions, and listen to the answers
  • Observe people and listen to conversations

Improvement is gradual-- one new thing, one day at a time . . .
