DIY Quick Tip: Use Anti-Seize Dressing

Here is another DIY Quick Tip: Use anti-seize dressing on fasteners that you will have to loosen again in the future.
This is especially important in automotive DIY, because your vehicle is exposed to the elements and possibly road salts.

Anti-seize dressing is available at hardware and automotive parts stores.

Simply apply it to the threads or screws and bolts, or metallic surfaces that tend to fuse together.

I use it on my alloy rims and the wheel hub to avoid problems removing the wheels on the side of the road.

This adds a step to your repairs, but will possibly save you hours in bolt breaking efforts.
