Cooking From Scratch: How to Make Your Own Homemade BBQ Dry Rub





The weekend is coming and it is BBQ time-- here is a dry rub idea.

Here is what you need:

  • 1/3-1/2  cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup paprika
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt


Here is what to do:

  • Mix ingredients well
  • Wash your hands and hand mix into the meat
  • Grill when ready
