DIY Quick Tip: Save Wet Paint Brushes and Rollers in Plastic

Here is another DIY Quick Tip: Save paint brushes and rollers in plastic for second and third coats.
Many times when painting you have to apply second and third coats of paint, rather then clean the used brushes or rollers-- store them. I have stored brushes and rollers safely for up to two weeks.

How to store them? The best way is to put them in a Ziploc bag. The brushes and rollers stay wet and fresh and can be used as though you had stopped paint only minutes before.

What if you have a tray of paint and brushes and rollers? I use plastic grocery bags. I put one bag on and then put another bag over it from the other direction. If it will be a while, I tape the top bag down. The bags can also be used to dispose of spent brushes and rollers when done if they are not worth cleaning for future use.

Now get painting.
