Cooking From Scratch: How to Make Your Own Homemade Beer Batter





Here is an idea for chicken or fish-- Homemade Beer Batter.
  Prep time is under five minutes.

Here's what you need:

  • 1 1/2 cups of beer (Use a hearty beer)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Dash of salt


Here's what to do:

  • Mix ingredients (flour, egg, garlic powder, and black pepper and salt)
  • Slowly stir in beer
  • Coat chicken or fish with egg, then dip in batter and fry.

Enjoy!
