Cooking From Scratch: How To Make Your Own Gatorade Style Sports Drink





Exercising again? Here is a way to cool off. This recipe is how to make your own Gatorade style sports drink on the cheap-- very frugal.

Here's what you need:

  • 2 quarts of cold of water
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt or salt substitute


You can also add:

  • 1/2 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon of lime juice


Here's what to do:

  • Mix
  • Chill
  • Serve


Inexpensive, quick (Prep time under 5 minutes), and easy . . .
