DIY Quick Tip: How to Keep Your Hands Clean

Here is another DIY Quick Tip: One of the side effects of DIY projects is getting dirt, oil, or paint on your hands
that is hard to get off. How to keep your hands clean? There is a simple solution:

Use hand moisturizer before you begin the project. Yes, by moisturizing, a layer of protection is afforded so you won't need to scrub as hard to get the evidence of your work to go away. Soap and water with a little scrubbing from a scrub brush should suffice.

I do don gloves when I paint, work on the car, or dig in the dirt, but inevitably the neoprene glove tear or the work glove get wet and you end up with dirty hands. The moisturizer makes a big difference.

Another tip here is to use special hand cleaners designed for the job at hand-- I think mainly of the degreasing Goop hand cleaner for auto work.

I don't mind getting my hands dirty, but I sure like to get them clean when I am done with the job at hand.
