There is nothing like homemade, Chunky Salsa. Prep time is about 12 minutes.
Here's what you need:
- 5 tomatoes, chopped
- 5 peppers, chopped (Your choice-- mixed is best in my book)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1-2 clove of garlic, chopped
- 1/2 cup of parsley or cilantro
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 quart of water
- Dash of salt
- Dash of pepper
Here's what to do:
- Bring water to a boil
- Add tomatoes and peppers for 10 minutes
- Strain and discard water
- Mix all ingredients
- Chill
Serve cold. Great for football viewing!
