Cooking From Scratch: How to Make Your Own Mushroom Gravy

I love mushrooms and I really love mushroom gravy. Make your own-- homemade . . .
Here's what you need:
- 1-2 pints fresh sliced mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 tablespoon of flour
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/3 cup of red wine or sherry
- 1 dash of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 dash of garlic salt
- 1 dash of onion powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
The total prep time is under 10 minutes.
Here's what to do:
- Put olive oil and butter in a saucepan on medium heat
- Add mushrooms to sauté
- Mix in other ingredients
- Stir and bring to a boil
- Simmer until ready to serve
