Self Reliance Builds Self Esteem . . .
Everyone is keen on "self esteem" these days . . . I say if you want to build self esteem-- try self reliance and the Self Reliance Workshop. Self reliance can lead to:
- Personal satisfaction
- Pride and a sense of accomplishment
- A "Can-Do" attitude
People can learn to do anything. As a person moves toward a more self reliant and self sufficient lifestyle, they become empowered, Self Reliance is About Power . . ., but there are other benefits to be had as well.
Learning new skills, techniques, and approaches makes people feel good about themselves-- they are growing and improving. Personal satisfaction rises and brings many aspects of happiness-- physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Successes big or small can elevate pride. There is nothing like a job well done. For example, the sense of accomplishment from a successful yield in the garden can be seen a person's face.
Finally, as we learn, we start to get a level of competency that allows you to innovate. You feel empowered and start to believe you can do bigger and better. I think of learning to cook-- eventually, you won't need set recipes . . .
Bottomline "Take-Away": You can raise your self esteem through actively pursuing a more self reliant lifestyle. Begin today-- you can do it.
